Russia and China veto U.S. Resolution at the U.N. to Monitor Iran

China and Russia, two permanent members of the Council with veto powers, voted down the U.S. measure on Thursday to extend the U.N.’s ability to assess Iran’s compliance with international nuclear sanctions.
