Deployment of 39,000 troops foiled enemy ground invasion plan

TEHRAN, Oct. 12 (MNA) – The commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces said the deployment of more than 51 combat units and the repositioning of 39,000 army personnel during the Ramadan War thwarted the enemy’s plan for a ground invasion of Iran.
